Wupai River is within the boundary of Ziyuan County and lies at the southwest foot of the Maoer Mount and rises from the Jinzi Mount which has a height of 1,883 meters above the sea level. 
There are many bents, steep hill, thick forests and deep valley. All the noise of the world is kept outside, the scenery on both sides are beautiful; the folk customs are rich. Wupai River brings visitors to a simple and original pure world.

Wupai River is also named Xunjiang River, it's the second biggest river in Ziyuan County after the Zijiang River. The Wupai River runs westwards into Liujiag River and finally into Zhujiang River, belonging to the Zhujiang River System. The rafting starts in Chetian and ends in Hekou, covering a section of 30 km long. On your rafting trip, you will see deep gorges, lush mountain, oddly-shaped rocks.
